Celebrating Christmas With Dog Photography In London

As a dog photographer in London, I love meeting the capital’s canine residents and helping them celebrate milestones and special occasions.

When Dog & Groom contacted me and asked if I wanted to join their annual Christmas party with my dog studio photography, I was thrilled to accept the invitation because they are one of my favourite and most highly recommended groomers in London.

The party was lovely; humans enjoyed glasses of prosecco, and their respect and appreciation for what Anna (owner of Dog & Groom) does for their dogs was evident in the conversations they had with each other.

And the dogs were treated to an absolute gourmet feast by Chef Dan. I can confirm everything was delicious, as I got to take some home for my little Theo, and she demolished everything!

And, of course, there were the Christmas photographs! I had my studio kit set up, and one by one, I welcomed in the guests to have their photographs taken for Christmas cards or to share with friends and family on social media.

I am always so thankful to be invited to a venue I haven’t photographed dogs in before because there is always a high chance of meeting a dog for the first time. And oh my GOD, the dogs did not disappoint. Not that any dog ever does, but these dogs had me wishing I had brought my own Santa sack with me to take them all home with me!

Take a look below!

“Bark The Halls” - A Christmas Carol

(To the tune of "The Twelve Days of Christmas" - written by me and chatgpt haha!)

On the first day of Christmas, my camera gave to me,

A Sheltie named Lilly in a Santa hat, you see.

On the second day of Christmas, my camera gave to me,

Two legs a-standing, Boris the Affenpinscher, so lively,

On the third day of Christmas, my camera gave to me,

Charlie in a Christmas collar, posing joyfully,

On the fourth day of Christmas, my camera gave to me,

Pablo in a green bow, looking festive and fancy,

On the fifth day of Christmas, my camera gave to me,

Kuma licking lips with holiday glee,

On the sixth day of Christmas, my camera gave to me,

Mabel carolling with dachshund glee,

On the seventh day of Christmas, my camera gave to me,

Marshall and Ted in Christmas pyjamas, snug and warm,

On the eighth day of Christmas, my camera gave to me,

Archie in a Christmas bow, lounging gracefully,

On the ninth day of Christmas, my camera gave to me,

Alfie with a happy smile, spreading doggy charm,

On the tenth day of Christmas, my camera gave to me,

Snoop in a Santa hat, bringing Christmas smiles.

Completely obsessed with the photos Amie took of our dog. The whole experience was so fun and easy and Amie was great. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to get a very cute picture of their best paw pal. Thank you so much Amie!
